Charleston Wine + Food is an annual five-day event that takes place the first full weekend of March. It highlights our region's distinctive food and drinks through a unique and enticing culinary experience. There are of different experiences are spread out over the five days and each is individually ticketed. So, you can get tickets for the events you want and pass on the ones you don't. If you are a wine lover or foodie this is a must-see event. Tickets can sell out quickly so if you thinking about going make sure to snag a ticket. However, if tickets are already sold out there is still hope! CHSWF also partners with Lyte, a ticketing platform, to exchange and return tickets. So, you can request a ticket to a sold-out event and when one becomes available, boom, it's yours! Come out and see what it's all about!

Fort Sumter National Monument
Stand on the grounds where the Civil War first began. The first shots of the war were fired on Fort Sumter at approximately 4:30 a.m. on April 12th, 1861. Fort Sumter surrendered 34 hours later, and Union forces tried for nearly four years to take it back. This historical park sits prominently at the mouth of the Charleston Harbor, which was a strategic location that was crucial to its defense. At Fort Sumter and Fort Moultrie National Historical Park, you can experience the opening battle of the American Civil War and explore its origins with a National Park ranger.

Charleston
Folly Beach
Folly Beach is one of America’s last true beach towns as a 12-square-mile barrier island that is packed with things to do, see, and enjoy. The Pier
The new Edwin S. Taylor Folly Beach Fishing Pier pays tribute to the previous Lowcountry icon while welcoming residents and visitors alike for generations to come. On the pier, you can experience picturesque views, some of the best saltwater fishing in the area, and beautiful wildlife. The pier stretches 1,049 feet into the sparkling waters of the Atlantic Ocean and is 25 feet wide and 22 feet above sea level.

Walking the beach
Isle of Palms is home to seven miles of wide, pristine beaches that are perfect for swimming, lounging, fishing, biking, and kayaking. You can even pick up a free t-shirt at City Hall while you’re there! There is truly something for everyone there and is a popular destination for beachgoers. The City's Front Beach commercial district is located on Ocean Boulevard from 10th Avenue to 14th Avenue. This area offers public restrooms, plenty of public parking, and great restaurants and shops.

Daniel Island
Daniel Island is a planned community north of Charleston that was originally used to grow sea island cotton and timber. It is now home to the Family Circle Tennis Center, where the Credit One Charleston Open, formerly known as the Volvo Car Open and the Family Circle Cup, a professional tennis tournament, takes place annually. Credit One Stadium, a concert and event venue, is located within walking distance to dining. Daniel Island is about 30 minutes from Folly Beach, a local favorite!

Credit One Stadium: Charleston Open
Previously the Volvo car stadium, the 2021 renovated Credit one stadium is a must-see for tennis lovers. It's home to the Charleston Open which is the largest women's only tennis tournament in North America. It has also been named the Women's Tennis Association 500 tournament of the year. This year's tournament takes place from April 1st-9th, come out and see some exciting matches and a beautiful stadium.

Credit One Stadium: Concerts and Events
The Credit One stadium is not only an excellent place to catch a tennis match, but it is also a stellar venue to see your favorite artists perform. The stadium has a 10,200-seat capacity and will be home to a number of concerts in 2023. Credit One Stadium: The Stagehouse
The stadium has also recently introduced a new event space called The Stagehouse. Located in the Credit one stadium, the beautiful southern chic venue could be perfect for your next event.
